What started as a pure passion for clean, professional design became something much bigger—Pixel Point Creative LLC (PPC) was born in 2009, after a decade of professional and freelance design experience. We were ready to level up—and we’ve been growing ever since. Back in the day, we dove into the Joomla world, crafting custom templates and extensions. By 2011, we launched our very own Joomla template club, giving our customers an easy and affordable way to access everything we created.

While Joomla is still part of our DNA, we’ve seriously expanded our toolbox.

We’re not just Joomla geeks. Pixel Point Creative is a full-service web and graphic design firm. We build beautiful, high-performing websites using modern platforms like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla! and Shopify. But we don’t stop there—we also design logos, brochures, flyers, ads, publications, identity systems… basically, if it needs great design, we’ve got you.

With 20+ years in the design and web development world, we’ve done it all—national magazines, websites for bestselling authors, e-commerce shops, nonprofits, construction companies, schools—you name it. Since 2009, we’ve created more than 100 Joomla products and we’re still learning, growing, and evolving every day.

Who is steering the ship?

AHOY! My name is Dan Riefstahl and I'm the captain and owner over here at Pixel Point Creative. After graduating from Penn State, I started my career at Chitester Creative Associates. It was there that Bob Chitester, the founding general manager of the Erie, Pennsylvania PBS and NPR stations (WQLN and WQLN-FM), asked me a simple question. Are you interested in Web Design?

Having just graduated from Penn State with a degree in video editing, I had a huge interest in emerging technologies and immediately got in deep. After all, it was the early 2000's and the internet was all the rage. I had a realization at this moment that this was my path and I have never looked back.

I like to build stuff. Both digital and physical. I’m a Web Developer, Designer and Carpenter. I like being creative no matter what medium I am working in. I enjoy seeing a project in my mind, and bringing that vision to life.
